Mama Janet opened her doors in 1997, sharing family recipes passed down through generations. Her authentic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes quickly captured the hearts and stomachs of Duarte residents, as well as guests from Monrovia, Arcadia, Bradbury, Azusa, and across the San Gabriel Valley. Today, people come from all over to experience her flavorful kabobs, shawarma, falafel, hummus, salads, bowls, and house-made desserts.

This place is the best Mediterranean restaurant I've ever had, the others I've tried don't compare. Their beef and chicken are seasoned so well and juicy, and their butter rice is so delicious and pairs the meal so well together.

Big fan of Janet's! I come here more than a few times a month and LOVE their falafel salad!! I know there's more to order there but when I want some healthy with tons of flavor, Janet's Falafel Salad is my go to. The falafel is soooo tasty and the salad dressing is CRAZY good and the fact that they give you a pita wrap is a great addition to the enjoy the dish multiple ways.
